The German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest (GACC Midwest) invites you to an interactive workshop on visas and recruiting in the US market. A critical early decision facing German companies entering the US market is whether to hire locally or to send over an existing employee from Germany. Kevin Aiston, Partner at leading immigration law firm Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP will provide an overview of the main expatriate visa categories and explain how these have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Mr. Aiston will also give an update on Business Visitor (B-Category) visas and ESTA in light of the ongoing travel restrictions. Justin Flaxbart, Senior Manager, Recruiting & Consulting Services at GACC Midwest, will discuss the dos and don’ts of recruiting in the US market and how COVID-19 has affected the US employment market.
