GACC Midwest implements solution-driven, German-style apprenticeship programs such as the ICATT Apprenticeship Program and MAT2 Apprenticeship Program. Certified according to German DIHK standards, GACC Midwest Apprenticeship Programs are embedded in the system of the US Department of Labor.

The ICATT Apprenticeship Program
The Industry Consortium for Advanced Technical Training (ICATT) is a joint program between GACC Midwest and the German American Apprenticeship & Education Foundation. The ICATT Apprenticeship Program offers training according to German standards with a focus on complex technologies in manufacturing and logistics, as well as business apprenticeships.

The Michigan Advanced Technician Training Program (MAT²)
The Michigan Advanced Technician Training Program (MAT2) is an industry-driven approach to apprenticeships for mechatronics, CNC, technical product design, and IT. GACC Midwest supports the MI Talent Investment Agency with the management of MAT2.
