The electric vehicle (EV) market is growing rapidly in the United States. In 2022, EV sales reached 6.6 million, up from 3.2 million in 2021. This growth is being driven by a number of factors, including government incentives, declining battery prices, and increasing consumer awareness of the environmental benefits of EVs. The growth of the EV market is putting a strain on the country's EV charging infrastructure. As of 2023, there are over 160,000 EV chargers in the United States, but this is still not enough to meet the needs of the growing EV fleet. The Biden administration has set a goal of installing 500,000 public EV chargers by 2030.

Embark with us on an in -person expert trip to the United States. The trip brings 16 selected representatives of the German EV & Charging Infrastructure sector to the U.S. The program brings together key stakeholders from both sides of the Atlantic to share knowledge and best practices and to discuss innovative, sustainable and future-proof solutions.
