About Kern Precision, Inc.

Kern Microtechnik GmbH, Eschenlohe, part of AMETEK, Inc., employs around 280 people and is active worldwide. The focus is on two business areas: the development and manufacturing of high-precision machining centers and the job shop for many highly demanding parts in μm accuracy.
The precision machine manufacturer's success is based on ongoing new developments. Proof of this is, on the one hand, the winning of many innovation awards - most recently the "Bavaria's Best 50" in 2023 and the "TOP 100 Innovation Award" in 2024. On the other hand, the five-axis precision centers speak for themselves – with position accuracies of < 0.5 μm and surfaces on workpieces that equal a polished gloss surface.
In the job shop, parts are manufactured with precision on Kern machining centers in serialμm production – highly automated and validated by measurement technology. In addition, other technologies are available.
