Located in Farmington Hills near Detroit, our staff at the Michigan Office assist companies with market entry and virtual office services, inquiries about Michigan's industrial environment, provides apprenticeship programs, hosts local business and networking events, brings trade missions and delegations to the region, and supports companies as a J-1 visa sponsor to hire international interns.

Our members have unparalleled access to the national AHK USA network of 2,500 members in the U.S. and over 50,000 members in the global AHK network.

Although the state of Michigan has a diverse economy, it is best known as the center of the U.S. automotive industry. The Great Lakes State consists of two peninsulas, with the lower peninsula being the center of manufacturing, high-tech industries and agriculture and the upper peninsula primarily benefiting from the tourism industry. The Michigan office is the exclusive representative of GACC Midwest in the state of Michigan.
