The USA is a leading center of innovation and transformation with a strong industrial, technological, and start-up culture. Together with our Chamber of Commerce project partners, we invite you to join us on a delegation trip to Detroit and Chicago. The thematic focus will be on renewable energies, smart manufacturing, logistics, and structural change in the automotive industry. In addition, the US business environment under Trump 2.0 will be examined in discussions with local German companies.

Detroit is undergoing a transformation from a classic automotive metropolis to an important location for digitalization, clean tech, Industry 4.0, and start-ups.
Chicago is one of the most economically powerful and innovative cities in the US, the most important financial center in the Midwest, and a pioneer in the energy transition. The city is also a major magnet for foreign direct investment.

The trip is aimed at German companies that want to gain insights into new technologies, business models, and transformation processes and establish valuable contacts in the US market. Company visits, technical discussions, and networking events are planned, accompanied by the AHK.
