In 2022, our Chamber focused on connecting members through exclusive networking, resources, and events, including our Leading Through Crises event, a hybrid panel on leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Midwest SME Forum, and the German Night Reception at IMTS. We also hosted the German American Business Awards and continued success with our ICATT Apprenticeship Program, now piloting a Business Apprenticeship initiative. As German companies increasingly sought opportunities in the US, we supported them through delegations and strategies related to market entry and green energy. The year also highlighted strong economic ties between Germany and the US, with German companies contributing $114.3 billion in added value.
