Der German American Business Outlook (GABO) ist eine jährliche Umfrage zu deutsch-amerikanischen Geschäftsbeziehungen, die sich an deutsche Tochtergesellschaften in den USA richtet und die aktuellen wirtschaftlichen Entwicklungen und Trends im transatlantischen Geschäft bewertet.

    Carsten Felix

    CEO and Co-Owner, Boker Group Carsten Felix is CEO and Co-Owner of Boker Baumwerk GmbH and Boker Holding GmbH, Solingen, Germany. Since 1999, he has led the international Boker Group, overseeing global strategy, marketing and sales, research & development, operations, IT, and human resources for approximately 150 employees worldwide. He is responsible for the Group’s subsidiaries in the United States and Argentina and serves as a member of the Advisory Council. Since 2019, Mr. Felix has focused on the North American market serving as Director and Senior Advisor of Boker USA Inc., Lakewood, Colorado. As a member of the executive board he is responsible for U.S. business strategy and transatlantic coordination between the U.S. and Germany. Earlier in his career, Mr. Felix held international controlling positions at Gerresheimer Glas AG, including assignments in the United States. He began his professional career with a certified banking apprenticeship in Germany. He holds degrees in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt. Mr. Felix is fluent in German and English.

    USA Sales Director, OroraTech Steve Maisonet is an Army veteran and former Reconnaissance Officer who served in Germany, where he developed a people-centered leadership style grounded in trust, clarity, and decisive action. After separating from the Army, he stayed in Germany, where he began his sales career, building experience in enterprise engagement and international markets. He later founded his own fitness technology company, gaining firsthand experience in entrepreneurship, product development, and go-to-market execution. Today, Steve serves as Sales Director for the United States at OroraTech, managing national sales and acquiring new business across fire services, utilities, and carbon markets.     Audit & Tax Manager, Rödl Torben Krieger is an Audit & Tax Manager based in Rödl's Denver, Colorado office, which was established in August 2024.
