Jan Walter Schroeder

Dr. Jan Walter Schroeder, CPO & Board of Directors, CisLunar Industries Dr. Jan Walter Schroeder is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at CisLunar Industries, a Colorado-based space company building scalable infrastructure to support the space industrial economy, with a focus on electric power conversion systems that are critical for in-space mobility, manufacturing, and resource utilization. The company’s Electronic Power Intelligent Conversion (EPIC) technologies enable advanced propulsion systems, high-voltage power applications, and dual-use industrial platforms. With over 15 years of experience in aerospace and electronics, Walter previously contributed to projects at the European Space Agency and led research at the Catalunya Aerospace Center. He holds a Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering and an M.Sc. in Software Engineering, and is the recipient of the ESA Innovation Prize. He is also the lead inventor on multiple patents and has contributed to over 50 technical publications.
Ryan Nalty

Ryan Nalty is the Director for Industry Research Partnerships at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he specializes in forging strategic connections between academia, industry, and government; specifically in the aerospace and defense research and applied sciences. He also previously served as CU's Head of Industry Relations. Ryan has proven experience building strong, collaborative, and value-based relationships with key stakeholders across the public and private sectors, from the local through to the international level. Prior to joining the University of Colorado Boulder, Ryan served as Deputy Director of Community & Economic Development for Adams County, Colorado. He directed the County’s economic development efforts and led business development at the Colorado Air & Space Port, which is operated by the County and one of only 13 FAA-licensed spaceports in America. Ryan has also worked as Director of Strategic Partnerships for the World Trade Center Denver, where he helped to build a stronger international-focused community in Colorado. Before moving to Colorado, he served as a British diplomat leading on aerospace and security policy at the British Embassy in Washington D.C. In his over 7 years with the UK Government, Ryan helped to shape UK aerospace strategy and represent the UK Government in negotiations with the FAA, USDOT, USDOD, NASA, and the private sector. He also supported on official State Visits of UK Ministers and British Royalty to the United States. Ryan holds undergrad degrees from the University of Montana and a dual Master’s Degree in Transportation Policy and Business Management jointly awarded by Imperial College London and University College London.
