From May 11 to 15, 2026, the GACC Midwest and GACC New York, on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), will conduct a business development trip to the USA.

Transatlantic Interior Design & Furniture Forum Chicago, Tuesday, May 12th  

Join us in Chicago for a world class networking event showcasing international interior design trends and creative minds in furniture manufacturing, interior architecture, and modular workspace solutions. This forum brings together architects, designers, builders, developers, distributors, and industry stakeholders including a delegation of German companies known for quality craftsmanship, sustainable construction, and forward‑thinking design.

As a third‑generation family business and key supplier to major global brands, they seek U.S. distributors and builders to expand premium hardware offerings.

The company’s products, built on circular economy principles, offer long life, upgradeability, and universal modularity, enabling continuous adaptation of spaces with minimal waste. System 180 collaborates with architects, designers, and organizations to create flexible, future-ready environments for work, learning, and retail. The company is seeking U.S. sales partners, furniture manufacturers, and design firms, as well as organizations exploring leasing or subscription-based furniture models.

Raumplus provides German‑engineered, made‑to‑measure wardrobe systems, sliding doors, room dividers, and precision aluminum profiles for high‑end residential and commercial interiors. WEINBAUMS is a design brand specializing in premium Bauhaus‑inspired furniture made exclusively from stainless steel and European leather, including chairs, barstools, tables, and handcrafted carpets. Its products stand out through award‑winning design quality, high‑grade materials, and a distinctive aesthetic that blends industrial elegance with modern craftsmanship. The company aims to build U.S. references and identify distribution partners and project developers to position its collections within high‑quality design showrooms.

Konektra creates modular, customizable furniture systems built from durable, interchangeable components for long-lasting, sustainable interiors. Made in Germany with high‑quality materials and short lead times, the SYSTEM 01 platform offers flexible, timeless configurations for home and office. They seek exclusive distribution partners, project planners, and interior architects to grow their brand in the U.S. market.

 

Nexxt Wooden Company 

The Nexxt Wooden Company combines Tischlergruppe, delivering high‑quality furniture components, and the newly established Tilytics LLC, data for the wooden industry. They provide interior fittings and custom woodwork for residential and commercial projects, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern production technology, and transparent, software‑based pricing as well as fast response times.
