Vice President Strategic Development
With 50 years of transportation management experience, William F. Rooney has been with the company for 12 years. Prior roles include President of Hanjin Shipping America, Senior Vice President at CMA-CGM, and Vice President at GT Nexus. Rooney's extensive career also features 25 years at Sea-Land Service, including 5 years in Europe. He began in economic research for the US Department of Transportation. Rooney holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Marist College and a master's degree in economics from Northeastern University. He has contributed leadership to various board memberships, including the Pacific Maritime Association and the Maritime Association of the Port of New York and New Jersey.
