Der German American Business Outlook (GABO) ist eine jährliche Umfrage zu den deutsch-amerikanischen Geschäftsbeziehungen, die sich an deutsche Tochtergesellschaften in den USA richtet und die aktuellen wirtschaftlichen Entwicklungen und Trends im transatlantischen Geschäft bewertet.

Seien Sie am 14. März im Denver Country Club bei der Live-Präsentation und Diskussion der Ergebnisse des German American Business Outlook (GABO) dabei und erfahren Sie, was deutsche Unternehmen in den USA für das kommende Jahr erwarten.

Diese von den Deutsch Amerikanischen Handelskammern durchgeführte US-weite Umfrage ist einer der wichtigsten Wirtschaftsindikatoren für die deutsch-amerikanischen Geschäftsbeziehungen.

Unsere Führungskräfte werden die Ergebnisse der Umfrage und deren Bedeutung für deutsche Tochtergesellschaften im Mittleren Westen diskutieren. Die Sprecher des Panels werden Anfang 2025 bekannt gegeben.

    Thomas Sinn

    CEO, Dcubed Thomas, CEO of Dcubed, leads the company’s offices in Munich and Denver. Growing up next to the European rocket test site, his passion for space began early. He studied in Germany, the US, and Scotland, gaining experience in academia, the European Space Agency, and the space industry. Six years ago, he founded Dcubed to push the boundaries of space technology. Starting with mission-critical COTS components, the company now pioneers disruptive innovations like in-space manufacturing. Under his leadership, Dcubed is shaping the future of space infrastructure, enabling scalable, next-generation solutions for exploration and commercialization beyond Earth.

    Brooke Bacon

    Chief People Officer, Viega North America In her role at Viega, Brooke leads the People Team, which is accountable for all stages of the employee experience. Brooke is passionate about stewarding the company’s purpose-led culture and ensuring that employees consistently experience authentic care and community in their time at Viega. Brooke has more than twenty-five years of HR experience across Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partnering within a variety of industries in both publicly and privately held companies. Brooke is a proud graduate of Baylor University, a wife and a mother to four children.

    Gerhard Schneiders

    CPA & Partner, Rödl & Partner USA Gerhard Schneiders is a German Tax Consultant, Public Accountant, a Certified Public Accountant and a Partner of Rödl & Partner USA. He holds a degree in Business Economics (Diplom-Kaufmann). He has over 30 years of experience in Assurance, Accounting and Tax, and joined Rödl 12 years ago. He’s specialities are inbound investments, including start up’s, performing assurance services applying US GAAP, IFRS or German GAAP/HGB, Tax consulting and state and local tax compliance. Originally from Germany, he worked in Boston, New York and Atlanta. He was a board member of GACC New York for over 12 years.

    Mario Kratsch

    Vice President, German American Chamber of Commerce® of the Midwest, Inc. Mario joined GACC Midwest in October 2014 to lead the Skills Initiative, the Chamber’s effort to promote German-style apprenticeships in the US. In this capacity, he built the chamber’s apprenticeship programs and the Apprenticeship Networks department. Before joining GACC Midwest, Mario worked at a Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Germany as a training consultant for industrial and technical professions, and later as head of the international business division. Mario was also responsible for international projects on know-how transfer in Central Asia and the Balkans. Mario is head of GACC Midwest’s ICATT (Industry Consortium for Advanced Technical Training) Apprenticeship Program, the largest apprenticeship program in the U.S. fully benchmarked on the German Dual Education System. In addition, Mario oversees the management of the MAT2 (Michigan Advanced Technician Training) apprenticeship program and all of GACC Midwest’s apprenticeship and workforce development activities. Mario was elected Vice President of GACC Midwest by the Board of Directors in September 2017. In this capacity he also manages GACC Midwest’s Membership & Events and Marketing/Communications departments. Mario serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors of the German - American Apprenticeship & Education Foundation which supports the creation and expansion of high-quality apprenticeship pathways and related education in the United States. In 2024, Mario was appointed to serve a 2-year term as an Employer Representative on the Advisory Committee on Apprenticeship (ACA) of the U.S. Department of Labor.

    Lurlene Klein

    Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Lurlene Klein currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Mark VII Equipment, bringing over 20 years of progressive experience in finance and operations management to the role; she previously served as CFO at Orion Food Systems and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a concentration in Business Management, graduating with magna cum laude honors.
