We hope you had a happy and healthy start into the New Year!
We're excited to report plenty of good news for the beginning of 2016. Not only is our Chamber growing in terms of staff with two new employees in the skills team, we're also expanding our programming with two new events, especially suited to the interests of you, our members:
Monthly Luncheon Series – February 10: We have heard you – more regular meetings in the Chicagoland suburbs! On Wednesday, February 10, we will kick off our 2016 Monthly Luncheon Series in Schaumburg, providing easy accessibility for both Chicago suburban and downtown based members, and also close to O’Hare for our members and friends in surrounding regions. Continuing with tradition, our first luncheon will focus on an economic overview of the year ahead, and we are pleased to announce as guest speaker Dr. Erin Grossi, Chief Economist at UL LLC. As UL’s chief economic strategist, Erin provides this global independent safety science company with macroeconomic analysis, insight and trends. Please join us for insightful content and a great opportunity to interact with fellow members over lunch. Register here
Midwest SME Forum - March 16: Manufacturing in the Midwest – Successful Marketing/Branding Strategies – Working in a Multicultural Environment/HQ-Subsidiary Relationships - Corporate Governance/Compliance – Skilled Workforce … Want to learn more? These topics and more will be covered at our content driven Midwest SME Forum on March 16. The day will be filled with keynotes, panel discussions, breakout sessions, and plentiful networking opportunities. We encourage you to participate – attend, speak, sponsor!
