German American Business Outlook 2013

On  December 3, 2012 the press conference and presentation of the annual German American Business Outlook took place in partnership with and at the Bloomberg Headquarters in Midtown Manhattan. The German American Chambers of Commerce (GACCs) in cooperation with the Representative of German Industry and Trade (RGIT), and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants have for the fourth consecutive year surveyed 1,900 German subsidiaries in the United States to assess their economic outlook.

The German American Business Outlook measures the satisfaction of German companies with the United States as an investment location and takes on a different topical angle each year. Last year’s study addressed the impact of debt crises discussion on both sides of the Atlantic on the German subsidiaries. This year’s survey focuses on the transatlantic framework, in which German subsidiaries operate, and the challenges and opportunities they face in their company’s daily business. The survey receives wide press coverage in Germany and the US.
