ChamberBrief 2018: February Edition

Dear Members and Friends,

We’re happy to start February by announcing exciting news: the ICATT Apprenticeship Program is now a registered program with the State of Wisconsin.

Our Michigan network came together for the Winter Networking Reception on February 13 at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services in Farmington Hills, MI. This was a great kick-off to the year with 100 members in attendance. Our Detroit-based consulting team prepared an overview of trends in the automotive industry (in German) if you would like to know more about what is going on in this important sector.

We are looking forward to seeing our members at the 2018 Annual Members Meeting on March 2. Join us to elect this year’s GACC Midwest Board of Directors, mingle with our Board, and connect with your fellow members. For those unable to attend: the proxy letters were sent out last week. Please make sure to send yours back to us to vote for the 2018 Board.

Our next Business Luncheon moves to a special date on March 13, to welcome our high-ranking speaker: Dr. Stefan Mair, Member of the Executive Board of BDI, the Federation of German Industry, who will share insights on the future of German-American relations from the heart of the German capital. We hope to see you there.

Enjoy the read!
