In July, the Transatlantic Cluster Initiative brought together industry and academic leaders from the US and Germany to share knowledge in health IT & medical technologies. At roundtables in Minnesota, Indiana and Tennessee, experts discussed what the future holds for medical technology and health care, and how institutions and industry can work together in clusters to foster innovation. Join us for a study trip from October 16-20 as we take the discussion to Germany.

On September 12-13, the International Skills Conference is bringing together business champions in Dual Apprenticeship Programs modeled after the German system with business, regional and state leaders working to grow a globally competitive, highly skilled workforce. Attend and explore how the Dual Apprenticeship model can benefit the US, and close the skills gap. Register now.

Our August Luncheon saw Thomas Klier of the Chicago FED educate us on NAFTA and its impact on the future of the auto industry. Review what was discussed. Join our members for the next Luncheon in Schaumburg on September 6, where Zentis CEO Thomas Ginschel will discuss branding in the US and Germany. You might have seen Zentis products in both Germany and the US, but did you ever wonder why their packaging is different? Register now.
