German-American Industrie 4.0 Conference

On November 13, our partner EIT Digital is bringing a delegation of German Industrie 4.0 / Smart Manufacturing leaders to Chicago in the context of the “Year of German-American Friendship.” The objective of the visit is to exchange information and facilitate relationship building during open and informal discussions.

The German delegates will interact with local manufacturers as well as technology experts during an Industrie 4.0 Conference at the Chicago Connectory. This conference will provide an overview of the concept of Industrie 4.0 / Smart Manufacturing and feature discussions about key technologies and applications.

German Delegation

The German delegation includes several of the originators of the Industrie 4.0 concept as well as the recipient of the Frost & Sullivan Manufacturing Leader of the Year 2017 Award:

  • Thomas Koenen: Head of Department Digitalization and Innovation at the Federation of German Industries (BDI)
