German American Business Outlook 2010

Annual German American Business Outlook Survey

For the first time in the fall of 2009, the German American Chambers of Commerce (GACCs) in cooperation with the Representative of German Industry and Trade (RGIT) and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants surveyed German subsidiaries in the United States to ask for their economic outlook.

The annual German American Business Outlook survey aims to measure the satisfaction of German companies with the United States as an investment location and also takes political aspects, such as the stimulus package in 2009/2010, into account. A press conference was held on November 19, 2009 in Washington D.C., to present the results to the international trade press. The entire outcome was also published in a separate report; the Unites States-German Economic Yearbook 2009, and additionally was sent to all GACC members and other bi-lateral institutions.
