Study Trip to Germany on Organic Food Production and Trade
Travel to Germany on this exclusive study trip and gain an in-depth understanding of the German market for organic food.
Organized by GACC Midwest, in cooperation with the Organic Trade Association and Organic Valley, the trip is open to up to 20 organic growers, processors, distributors, and other industry representatives from the organic food sector.
The trip aims to expand technical knowledge and explore new business opportunities for the organic food industry. It features a comprehensive mix of visits to organic farms and food processing facilities, as well as meetings with leading organic food retailers and distributors, organic associations and co-ops, and government bodies in Germany.
The trip starts on Sunday evening, July 31, 2016 in Bonn and ends on Friday evening, August 5, 2016 in Frankfurt. We would recommend to fly in and out of Frankfurt. The itinerary itself is currently in development. We appreciate your input with the intention of accommodating your particular interests. Program cost and coverage
The program fee of $600 covers all accommodations (6 nights), meals, and local travel throughout the duration of the trip. Participants are responsible for their own air fare to and from Germany.
