Transatlantic Cluster Initiative

Delegation Trip to Germany on E-Mobility

The second part of the E-Mobility Program offered 15 select participants the chance to explore cutting-edge developments during an intensive, 5-day trip throughout Germany. Focus topics included - among others - opportunities for international collaboration, technology development and transfer and much more.

During the 5-day trip, participants had ample opportunity to visit and speak with German E-Mobility key players from business and research institutions as well as interact with leading industry associations and clusters. Last but not least, participants were able to immerse themselves into German culture and hospitality.

"GACC Midwest’s Transatlantic Cluster delegation trip to Germany opened doors and created new partnerships for my organization that I would not have been able to create without their efforts. The trip was incredibly productive, educational and enjoyable. It opened my eyes to the active and vibrant medical device manufacturing activity in Germany and ways that we could create transatlantic partnerships. We are following up on a partnership project with Medical Mountains AG that will connect us to a great network of medical device companies in the region".
