Sustainability in Healthcare Facilities – Business Conference
Environmentally sound practices in hospitals are gaining attention amongst health care providers across the United States. Reducing energy use and waste not only saves money, it also helps getting ahead of the regulatory curve and improves an organization’s standing in the community.
Mirroring American health care providers’ progress in the realm of energy efficiency, German hospitals have been able to reduce their energy costs by over 30%.
Catering toward this shared interest of American and German healthcare providers to improve their economic, environmental, and social bottom line, the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest will be hosting a Business Conference on Sustainability in Healthcare Facilities on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in Chicago.
Attendees will have the chance to hear from experts about current trends in the healthcare facility improvements field, meet with companies that plan, construct and manage sustainable buildings, as well as network with industry peers.
