Initiatives

In order to facilitate market entry and business activities for German companies in the U.S., GACC Midwest executes a variety of initiatives and programs that will facilitate know-how, technological, and business exchanges in various fields between industry experts, policy makers, professors, students, and other stakeholders in Germany and the US, e.g. the German American Water Technology Initiative.

Additionally, GACC Midwest organizes programs that assist in developing new foreign markets for German products and increases the competitiveness of German companies in the US. These programs are directed and funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in Germany.

Complementing its activities for market development in the US, GACC Midwest is also involved in initiatives promoting German-American cooperation and trade in general.

Additionally, we are leading the following initiatives that are part of the Transatlantic Program of the German Federal Government. The Transatlantic Program aims to foster a sustained transatlantic partnership:
