Business Luncheon Series

On every first Wednesday of the month, we invite you to lunch, learn and discuss with members and friends of the German American Chamber of Commerce.

Join us and learn more at the Luncheon on Wednesday, August 3, 2016!

Thomas Klier, Senior Economist and Research Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago will talk about: Vehicle emissions regulations in the US and Europe - Implications of VW's "Dieselgate".

Klier's research focuses on the effects of changes in manufacturing technology, the spatial distribution of economic activity and regional economic development.
Since joining the Chicago Fed in 1992, Klier has written widely on the evolving geography of the auto industry. His current research includes the changing structure of the auto industry and the responsiveness of the demand for new vehicles to the price of gasoline.

Lunch has never been more delicious and productive.
