GACC Midwest welcomed the Food & Beverage Processing Business Delegation to the Greater Chicago area during the week of May 8-12.

Our delegation consisted of leading energy efficiency innovators in waste heat recovery, water quality, F&B process optimization & consulting, air compressor management, beverage filling, as well as cold chain monitoring equipment.

Energy efficiency is a key component to the sustainable usage of resources and offers many opportunities to optimize cost and time. Attendees were able to connect with our delegates through individual meetings throughout the week or joined our business conference on best practices as well as current trends in F&B processing on Tuesday, May 9.

Heyl Brothers North America L.P
Heyl Brothers is a supplier for online water quality analyzers. Via titration, the Testomat® analyzer series automates the water testing of parameters including water hardness, chlorine/ bromine, phosphates or polymers. The analyzer’s test intervals can be adjusted manually and the patented micro dosing pump ensures efficient chemical reagent use. Applications include industrial bakeries, breweries, dairy or meat processing facilities – anywhere monitoring of water hardness or water quality is essential to the production and disinfection process as well as to the taste of the product. Additionally, Heyl is interested in meeting service and engineering firms that maintain and design food processing plants.

Kutzner + Weber GmbH
Kutzner + Weber GmbH has 25 years of experience in the development, construction, production and service of heat recovery systems, covering a wide range of industries. Through its partner company NET (Neue Energie-Technik GmbH), K+W offers custom designed heat recovery systems such as tube- and plate-heat exchangers with an ROI of 2-3 years. These solutions can easily be integrated into any existing operational process, allowing for significant energy and cost saving. Looking to expand further into the US industrial market, Kutzner + Weber are looking to analyze the American market by meeting with relevant organizations and associations, as well as industrial bakeries.

ME Industries
ME Industries offers the cutting-edge IoT software solution XPatron that allows companies to connect their supply chain and brings in an end-to-end supply chain visibility and traceability, from shipping agents, freight forwarders to the final recipients. The solution allows for proactive monitoring of the supply chain, leading to heightened transparency and traceability. ME Industries is interested in setting up meetings with food logistic companies (cold chain), large producers of meat and dairy products, supermarket chains and logistic associations.

Sick International GmbH
Sick-International GmbH is an internationally operating, leading manufacturer of flexible and cost-effective filling-, capping- and labelling-, and sterilization-machines which can handle various bottle- and can shapes and sizes as well as different beverage types (carbonated and non-carbonated).
